Is it just me, or are the jeans today LOOOONG?
I walk on the cuffs of every pair of jeans these days. and I'm tall for a woman.
is it just me? do you get your jeans hemmed?

I'm 5'2, so yes.
I'm not even "ankle" at the gap, I'm "extra short" isn't THAT flattering?
but you're right some of the regular jeans just seem too long for any normal woman to wear. My mom is 5'8 and i think by that should really be shopping "tall" and some regular jeans are on the long side on her

yes!!!!
if i wear sneakers, i always walk on the cuffs of my pants. But, i hate the way most jeans look Hemmed. 
so i usually just wear heels, but it stinks when i want to wear them with sneakers

glad it's not just me! I'm about 5'7" and I have never had this issue before 
even the pettite jeans I try on are too long sometimes.

I am barely 5 foot and if I find a pair of jeans that fit right I buy like 4 of it's kind because it is so hard for me to find a decent pair of jeans that fight right

Low rise pants are always normal rise on me...and I do OK with normal length pants at GAP or NY&Co or Old Navy. Designer brands are usually too long

I have the same problem...the shorts are too short and I can only wear the regular length with boots. Jeans are definitely too long!

It's even worse when you get into plus sizes. The jeans are RIDICULOUSLY long. I don't know why it's assumed that if you're larger around, you're also larger heightwise.

I could not agree more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have gotten a pair of petite jeans, and they are still too long!! I was beginning to believe I was shrinking!!! I am 5'9...I would think I should be in TALL, but they are like a foot too long!!

Yes, they are long today! I cut mine and don't even bother hemming. I read somewhere that it stylish to just let them be.

Jeans are long because they expect you to wear them LOWER.
I am finding that either I am shrinking (doubtful :lol)... or I have to get shorter jeans for a proper fit (30" now instead of 32")

Not for nothign, but maybe they'd be able to make more pairs of jeans if they just figured out to make them shorter I am 5'4 and the short jeans are way too short and the regulars are way too long

They are definitely making jeans toooo long these days...it's really annoying. I have to either buy the petite or short/ankle sizes and sometimes they're even a little too long.

I can never buy any pants without them going to the tailor first to be shortened. I just picked up three pairs and dropped off a pair of jeans. A 34 length is standard now on designer jeans...I don't get it...i need to get like a foot taken off. I get the hem reattached though so they dont look hemmed.

but men's sizing actually makes sense, as it's an actual measurement....with women's sizing....they just assign an arbitrary number to the waist and then choose whatever length they feel like!
women's clothing makes no sense to me.....

I thought it was just me and I am 5'4 which I originally thought was "average" height. Guess I was wrong.
