Is it hard for anyone else?
To get holiday cards with pictures of eveyone's families and children? Especially when I had hoped to send out a "family" Christmas card this year, but no luck yet...
ed: Dont get me wrong - I love seeing all the adorable babies in Santa hats, but I get a twinge of sadness too

This year I imagine that would especially sting because I'm currently supposed to be about 6wks away from giving birth  BUT ...... thankfully I don't know anyone with little babies who I should be getting a holiday card from!

It's difficult, but you must believe that one day you will be in that same position to send out holiday cards with your beautiful family, too.

Babies can make my heart hurt and bring tears to my eyes, but I still love seeing those adorable pictures!!! And I can't wait till next year, when we are posting our Christmas cards of our babies on the Parenting board.

I love seeing the pictures too. I've already started to practice by using my animals in my cards (yes, you can say crazy, I won't get offended)

I would imagine that would be extremely hard. I am fortunate that I have been blessed with two children but it still stings to get the newborn cards and hear pregnancy announcement. Heck I get choked up looking at photography blogs with newborns and I don't even know who these people are.

i know so many people who r preggo now..my best friends..good friends..wives of hubby's friends..list goes on and on...i am so use to hearing the news or seeing the pics i just dont even have a reaction any more

It is def. hard but I try to stay as positive as I can and I really do feel that they are blessed for what they have, so try and look at it that way and maybe it will make it a little better
