yes
ETA: it is on the list of safe OTC med from my ob. For anytime during pregnancy.

I read you shouldn't.
IMO, I wouldn't b/c you go back and forth between that and constipation. Maybe eat something that binds you up instead.

My midwife doesn't reccomend it because it can back you up pretty bad and then go back to the runs.....
I would keep well hydrated and let it run its course....maybe use some baby wipes to clean up so you don't start to get sore...

When I was 7 weeks PG I got the stomach flu. (I thought I was finally getting m/s, but the doctors told me not the case) I wasn't able to keep anything down and I was shooting from anywhere I could (sorry TMI) After 24 hours of hell the doctors told me I could take one Immodium pill. They told me not to before that.

my ob said no way...
was in the ER because of runs so bad and vomiting and other stuff and they said no as well.

I was told nothing in the first tri. Believe it or not you can actually take some Metamucil and the fiber will help bind it up.. I know it sounds odd, but it works.. HTH. Feel better
