I've had it on for two weeks already. It's not so much for the heat. I'm having trouble breathing with my allergies, and it gets stuffy in here with the windows and doors closed.

I came home to find it on today- glad the cats were cool
we have used it a few times- I have a fan in the bedroom- so I am ok with that for now

DH turned ours on tonight. He got a little overheated when I asked him to help clean up the house a little  
It feels good, but I'll probably turn it off before bed in a bit.

No not yet. Our house is in the cooler side. I will ask DH to remove the outside covers for them this weekend though so we can turn them on if we need to.

Haven't put them in the window yet and with LIPA'S rates I'm trying to hold out for as long as I can.
We have ceiling fans in every room so we've been using them.

Nope, we have CAC & we don't want to turn it on just yet. It is warm on the upper level of our house, but once you open the windows & use the fan, it cools it down to the low 70's. We are hoping to get into mid-late June before turning it on...We want to conserve some $$ since we got hit big with Oil this year...

no, but we rarely do. Even with the humidity its still gets cool here at night. The brezze comes across the lake & right into our upstairs windows.
Last year I think I used it 5 times.

our house is surrounded by lots of trees so it stays pretty cool. the first floor anyway. Upstairs we have a ceiling fan although on one window with a screen so DH doesn't want to open the windows. AC not yet, but believe me, it will be soon..

no, not yet. We don't put it on until at least July. Luckily we're in a ranch so it doesnt' get too hot, plus with the windows open we get great cross ventalation.
Also, I'm cheap.

No, its barely into May. And it hasn't been all that warm. We open the windows and use the fan in the bedroom.
