I picked a crib that has solid side panels, with slats only on the two long sides. It is JPMA certified, but I wonder if the solid sides pose a risk somehow. Thoughts?

I think you just have to be extra careful if you are planning to use bumpers. They can be hard to attach correctly on the sides with the solid panels.

Re: Is a crib with solid side panels a hazard, if it passed JPMA certification?
Thank you. I just wondered. I ordered a crib from Restoration Hardware that is ASTM and JPMA certified, but it has solid side panels and I wondered about that....
But I have seen a bunch of them and know I am just overanalzying it. I don't plan to use anything but a breathable bumper but I will see if it fits correctly on the sides when the time comes. Thanks.
