Introducing Emerson Victoria...
I am finally just getting a chance to post this now...
I ended up having a baby girl  on Sunday, June 1st (9 days late). Her name is Emerson Victoria and she weighed 6lbs, 15oz, 21 inches long. I had a normal vaginal delivery that went really well. (Not that I'm rushing to do it again).
I started laboring at 5 am in the morning and labored at home for a while. I arrived at the hospital at 11:00am and was 5cm dilated, so they kept me and moved me right into one of the laboring rooms. I will post more details in my birth story but to make a long story short... I ended having her at 4:46 pm after pushing for about a half hour. Not too bad I guess.
She is an amazing baby, she eats like a champ and sleeps 6 hrs thru the night. I can't believe it. I hope that it stays like that. She is all her daddy and I feel like I can't take any credit for her besides the fact that I carried her and nourished her for nine months.

Being a new mom is the MOST exhausting job EVER!!!!!

I was a little surprised by all her dark hair as well. My husband grew up with platinm blonde hair as a kid and so did I. I only found out about 2 weeks before delivering her that he was actually born with a ton of dark hair just like hers, that eventually fell out and came back in much lighter.  I am so attached to her dark hair now that I'll feel bad if she looses it.
