I apparently remember nothing from my first child, at what age did you give your LO a sippy/straw cup?

We gave a sippy at 4 months when he started solids. We introduced the straw cup at 8 months.

I started introducing straw cup to my DS at 6 months. I just let him play and kept it out while he ate. At around 8 months I'd say he got it and started to reach for it while eating meals. For first learning to drink from the straw, we liked the Munchkin Weighted Straw Cup

We introduced a straw cup to all 3 of our kids between 4 and 6 months. We have it to them, with water in it, at most meals to practice with. My oldest got the hang of it around 9/10 months, second around 11 months, and third at 6 months.

We introduced a cup shortly after he started solids, so 6-7 months. By 8 months, DS was good at using the cup. Now at 10 months, he barely uses a bottle at daycare.

6 months went straight to straw cup. Took to it immediately

i always meant to introduce it when we started solids both times I never did. I think I did both by 9-10 months offering a straw cup with water in it at every meal. by 1 year bottles were gone and milk went into a straw cup.

5 months with a straw cup
