interesting Q

Would you/did you "conspire" with friends/siblings to TTC at the same time so you have children close in age? Would you alter your TTC timeline in order to do so?

I know a lot of sister-sister pairings who got married years apart but were pregnant at the same time. In HS my bff and I talked about how our kids would either be bff or marry eachother

Also watched the pregnancy pact recently

my cousin and i were consipiring to ttc at the same time... my other cousin asked us both to be in her wedding in may... i havent spoken to her to see if shes still ttc or not...

also my bff said to me a few weeks ago that she wanted us to have kids at the same time and told me when she was going to try again... so i told her i was trying now so we def wont have kids the same age... unless she has an unplanned oops lol

No, but I told my friends who have kids that they need to have more when I have some. So, it's a one sided pact.

I would LOVE to have babies the same time as my close friends. Would I go sooner to do it? no. Nor would I wait.

But it would be fun if it happened!

ETA: My SIL (brothers wife) so wants this lol...she keeps saying she is waiting for me (not really true I think they are just not ready yet). We are prob starting to TTC around the same time so--it could happen--that would be so fun!

I wouldn't conspire, but I'd love it to happen. All of my BFFs are TTCing now, 2 for their 2nd, but none of us live near each other. Of my closest friends on LI, one is 12 weeks pregnant and one is 34 weeks pregnant with her 2nd. The rest are not TTCing, nor have kids already.

My BFF and I are both TTC. Nothing we planned just happened that way. I think it would be cool to be preggo together but I wont alter my plans to do so.

My best friend and I are 3 1/2 weeks apart in our PG and it was NOT planned at all (but some people have asked us). She was on birth control and not trying. She's getting married next october and they meant to do the wedding first...

I wish she lived closer because it would be amazing to have our children grow up together, but she lives in Boston.

i would love to but my BFF isn't planning to try for her 2nd until the end of next year. which i guess technically we could still be ttc at the same time, but she has to do IVF... so we'll see.

as to my sisters... would have loved it, but they've both closed up shop

On the other hand, I was lucky enough to be PG at the same time as one of my best friends the first time. It was really alot of fun to be able to share some of that time together. Our DS's are 4.5 months apart.

This time around, I'd love a partner, but I haven't gotten any takers yet! Although I'm thinking that DS's godmother MIGHT be almost ready...

with family - no...i want to pregnant on my own at least for our first child, just to get to be the only one in the family to be pregnant at the time seems special...i have a feeling that i won't be....oh well

Well one of my dear friends and I are TTCing together now, unfortunately after both have m/cs, but we're super excited and obsessed together! It really helps to have friends with children. I'm looking forward to it. COME ON BABY!

My sister has officially "closed shop" so thats a dead end street.

I have asked (aka begged) a few friends to start TTC'in w/me. My BFF had a "scare" last month and was very unhappy about it so I have decided to lay off asking her. A passing friend has led on that she isn't TTC but isn't preventing either. Aside from that everyone else I know either isn't into it or is over it. Guess it's just gonna be me for the long haul Actually we arent telling anyone but my BFF (who had the scare) that we are TTC'in

currently my good friend, cousin and I are TTC, but it wasnt a pact, they';re just ready for #1, and im ready for #2,
although i think they are going to be a little more crazier about #1, and I am taking it easy until Dec/Jan. If I dont get A bfp by then, then ill be crazy how i was DD
