Insurance on HSG - 2 Copays??

Insurance on HSG - 2 Copays??
Did anyone get charged 2 co-pays for their HSG?? I just got billed and the insurance company (BCBS) said its completely legitimate. They seperated the charges - 1 as surgery for the procedure and 1 for the x-ray
This seems like an unfair practice - especially since my copay is $25 for radiology services - so i have to pay $50 for one test

Oh man!!! That's a lot! My copay for regular RE visits is $40 each time!!!   These copays really add up!

mine wasn't separated, but my insurance (empire bcbs) said it was outpatient surgery (i guess b/c it was done at the hospital) and charged me a $200 copay.

Hmmm. I have Empire BCBS and paid nothing because all fertility related tests are covered. No copay. Nada. I did mine at a Radiology office and not a hospital.

Oh man! That stinks. I guess I should ask this before making an appt. for mine. I have bcbs too, but thankfully we have a wellness plan through work and can get reimbursed for this stuff.
