Insurance
I have GHI and I called to make an appointment at women 4 women and they said I couldn't if its just an annual. I got my last annual in June so it hasnt been a year and a day. Its so weird! So they have to put the appointment in as a trouble visit so they can see me. My husband and I started to TTC about two months ago and I havent gone to make sure everything is ok. Does anyone have GHI? Do you know what they cover when you are preg.?

Re: Insurance
I have Oxford and they do the same thing. They actually leave an automated message on my voice mail reminding me to make my yearly visit.

They cover everything when you are pregnant.
Why don't you just wait the month and go to the Doctor in June. IF you are healthy there is not much they are going to tell you if you are just asking about starting TTC.

Re: Insurance
I have MagnaCare and I had the same problem. They just put down that I was having painful periods or something like that so that I would be seen. I hadn't had a pap in well over 2 years so def. wasn't bc I was going before a year, my ins. just doesn't cover paps which blows my mind!!!!!

Re: Insurance
I have aetna, and they cover paps and bloodwork, but you can not go for your basic annual more than once a year.

Re: Insurance
I think most insurances will only cover 1 annual exam, but you should be able to go in for something else. They can put you down just for a consultation.
