In the hospital...
So I've been in the hospital since monday and it looks like I will be here till I deliver. 
For those of you that know my story...its been rough and the baby and I were doing so good after everything we've been through. I came in for a routine ultrasound on monday and they admitted me right away because baby looked like he had low amniotic fluid. I haven't ruptured my membranes, aren't contracting and so far baby looks good other than the low amniotic fluid. Doctors can't really explain any of it...but I do keep on hearing about how "rare" my case is.
I'm only 26 weeks and so afraid for my baby. Since the doctors haven't been able to figure out where this fluid is going...they have decided to treat me as if I broke my water and take it day by day by monitoring the baby. 
Although my situation is hard to compare with another...I would like to know if anyone has had experience with low fluids during pregnancy. I'm praying that this lil guy can stay in there for as long as he can without being in trouble.

I have a friend who gave birth to a 2 lb baby at 27 weeks last year. It was a long NICU stay, but her baby is beautiful and healthy today! I don't know why she was born so early, though. I'm glad you're being monitored and are in good hands!

27 weeks is so early :( but I am trying to prepare myself for what's to come and I thank you for posting that success story.

Prayers for you and your little one!!! My cousin delivered her son in November at 26 weeks. He was ok only 1 lb 5 oz at birth. He is still in the Nicu but doing beautifully!!! He lis 4 lbs 5 oz now and almost ready to come home.

Our koumbaris first boy was born at 25 weeks at 1lb 7 oz. He too is healthy now!!!

oh no I'm so sorry. I'm sure that your baby will be fine even if you do deliver early.
A friend delivered her baby at 23 weeks!! yes 23 weeks! It was a true miracle. He was only 15 ounces at birth. He is now 21 months old and is doing great!
