In exactly 12 hours.....

The realtor will be here for me to sign the contracts to sell our house.

It is bitter sweet. This was our first house. We moved in when I was 8 months pregnant with our DD.

We have painted and decorated. We have had Christmases, Halloween and Birthday Parties. Most days the house felt too small. On tough days, it felt too big.

I know every nook and cranny of this house. There is not one creepy or scarey spot.

I know the view from every window. Every night time sound. I have complained about the outdated kitchen and ugly bathroom tile. We have taught two babies to walk on these beat up wood floors.

This is our "first place". This is where we became a family. I hope that whoever ends up buying this house will create their own special memories inside these walls.

I hope that our new home will bring years of beautiful memories too!

awwwwwwwwww I think that people don't realize how emotional it is when you move. When I sold my old place to move here with DH, I thought about all the happy times we had there--we got engaged there! I hope the girl who bought it from me has some good fortune there as well.

And I'm sure the people buying your house will too!

Aww...I wanted to cry. I'm in the process of buying a house and I can't wait to make all those memories in the new home. We haven't met the sellers yet and won't until the closing and there is a huge part of me that wants to assure them that we will take great care of their home.

awwwww those are all such great memories. You will take those with you and tell stories to your children as they get older. Those are the great memories. Now you will make new memories in a new place. You take all these memories with you where ever you go. GL!

I felt the same way! We sold our first house in June. I brought my babies home from the hospital to that house, they walked their first steps in that house... just all the memories make it very bittersweet.

I can understand....for me I guess I have many bad memories associated with my home...more than good, so I will do a dance when I go. But we too had our firsts here as well. So I can relate! You will make many new memories in your new home...so hold on to the past ones but look forward to the future.

awww that's so touching. I don't think as a buyer I realized how emotional it is when you are a seller
