Implantation Bleeding? Update#3 7/11
I had my first IUI on 6/30. I am currently 8DPIUI & I am experiencing some light reddish/brown discharge (it is not truly a flow), only present when I wipe, TMI I do have a pantiliner on & I have had some stains on there....
I called the RE's office bc I got nervous when I saw it. My temps have declined but my RE told me unless it picks up in intensity or turns bright red, don't worry.
Has anyone else experienced this??? I am so nervous, I never had this before & it is WAY too early to have AF
Update #1: Ladies, I am beside myself at this point. It seems that what I have is not implantation bleeding but AF. It has come on stronger as the day goes on. Of course I have to wait until tomorrow to call the RE & get an appt. I don't know why or how this happened!!! All my hormone levels checked fine, yet I am only at CD20 & 8DPIUI. Now I just need to hope we can move forward to the next cycle without a hitch
Update #2: Sure enough, TBAF is here with a vengance this morning I called & I am going to see Dr. Rosenfeld tomorrow. I am beside myself. I cried it out to my DH last night & hopefully we can get some answers. I never have had a short cycle (only 20 days) so this is all new to me. Not sure if the Clomid messed me up or what. Hopefully we will have answers tomorrow & a new plan
Update #3 So I saw my RE last night & we are on hold for a cycle. It seems I developed a cyst on my left side since going on the Clomid. It was not present in the baseline sonogram on CD3 of last cycle but it was there after the IUI. RE is not too concerned bc it has not grown in size since the last sonogram. I knew something was up on the left side bc I could feel it when I O'ed!
With that said, he said he KNEW I would have a wacky cycle this month & that we will address why I got AF 8DPIUI when we do the next round. But he is confident we will be good to go in August Now, DH & I can go away in a week & truly recharge!

Re: Implantation Bleeding ?
I didnt have it but reading on it, this is exactly what it describes:
"Implantation bleeding, also called implantation spotting, does not look like a regular menstrual period. Implantation bleeding is scanty and usually pink or brownish discharge"
So I hope it is for you!

Re: Implantation Bleeding ?
I forget were you on Clomid or injectibles for this cycle?
But, it sounds good to me. When I had it it was brown, looking like old blood, not fresh (sorry TMI).

I was on Clomid for CD3-7...It is a strange color to describe, not my normal flow color There has been some scanty stuff (almost like clots, but not dark) mixed in there.
No cramps though (had them last night) & usually AF picks up in intensity within hours of getting it. This has stayed consistent.

Re: Implantation Bleeding ?
I hope it is
Some women spot during their Clomid cycle and also after IUI but the timing is perfect so I really hope this is it for you!!!

ETA: wanted to add that I also had spotting (that lasted for 3-4 hours) at 8 DPO....

Re: Implantation Bleeding ?
Sounds like IB to me and it is exactly the right time. Also some people have an implantation dip with implantation. I hope this is it for you!

I'm so sorry, Kristen, I know what a let-down this is.... All we can do is move on, right? Totally blows, though, especially when your hopes go up a little bit.....

Re: Implantation Bleeding? Update #2 7/9
My RE warned me when I took Clomid that it could either shorten or extend my cycle - I had a VERY whacky response to it as well

Me too, but I had the long cycle. Which believe me is worse because you are late and now you think you should test. With Injectibles I had really short cycles.
So sorry!!!!

Re: Implantation Bleeding? Update #2 7/9
Kristen- I'm sorry... this happened to me my first cycle on clomid. I went in for testing and my progesterone was only 1.5. After that, they put me on progesterone suppositories during the 2ww. I never had it happen again.

Thank you for the info. I am going to request 7DPO testing this coming cycle...I guess we would never know if I had a progesterone issue until we did the first IUI....
