I'm so scared right now
as most of you know I spot a little bit of brown cm every day. Today before I left work I went to the ladies room and my pantyliner had my typical tiny bit of brown cm on it. When I got home 1/2 hour later I had to go again and my entire pantyliner was full of brown blood. No cramps nothing. What's going on?

Brown blood is not a bad thing...go rest and put up your legs...call your Dr. so you can put your mind at easy! but just relax!

Charly....I'm experiencing the same thing....some days nothing...the next alot of brown. As long as it is brown and you are not crampy, don't worry yourself too much. Everything turned out to be fine when I went to the doctor the other day.

I know you are scared. Call your Dr. and he/she will probably want to see you. It is probably nothing. If it was accompanied by cramping, then you should worry.

I dont know what to say but from what Ive read I dont think its anything to worry about. A lot of times there is left over blood in the uterus since you didnt get your last AF - and this can come out slowly - or all at once - when you're PG.

Did you call your DR? How many weeks are you now?
Its so hard to say whats going on now, and I think that the best thing to do for your sanity is to think positively.

Thanks ladies for all your advice and support. I scared myself to sleep last night since my dr.'s office was already closed and I didn't want to use the emergency line. I figured if something was wrong there's nothing the doctor could do anyway.
So I'm still spotting more than usual but less than when I got home last night. I'm still not crampy, but I am urinating alot more than usual (not sure if their related).
My doctor's office opens at 8:30 so I'll let you know what they say.
I'm praying its nothing and that I overreacted, but it's just so frightening to see. I was finally accepting the daily spotting and to just see it increase like that so fast freaked me out.
Thanks again ladies and I hope to come back with news of a false alarm!!!

I'm going in at 10:30 to see the on call. They also said they want to discuss my genetic testing. All my other results came back good. I hate when they do that, they make me nervous.
Donna I'm almost 8 weeks.

charly.. I have been spotting on and off for 12 weeks now and every sono I have shows nothing, so they dont know where its coming from.

Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay I got home and I had a phone and internet outage - I'm finally back online!
You were all right  My cervix is still closed and the baby appears to be growing and the heart is beating. The doctor did say she saw a lot of brown blood and can't explain why it happens. She said at this stage there is nothing they can do if I'm going to m/c so try to not to come in unless there is red blood and/or cramping. I felt it was a bit cold, although truthful. Boy do I miss my doctor!!
Anyway I'm happy that everything is ok and I appreciate all your support and kind words!! I really don't know where I'd be sometimes without you girls
I'm going to try to stop worrying so much and try to enjoy this time.

glad everything turned out ok. I had brown blood at the beginning of my pregnancy and I was a nervous wreck. I'm now over 21 weeks and everything is fine.

I'm glad that you now have a little more piece of mind. It is good that your cervix is closed, that is the main detection of miscarriage.
That is the same thing that my dr. told me. He said "you could stand on your head and you can't prevent a m/c" I don't think they mean to sound cold, but m/c is so common to them.
Try to stop worrying, but believe me, you will still worry until your baby is out and you see for yourself that he/she is healthy!
