I'm so sad
Today is my MIL's last day with us - she's been here, visiting from Israel, for 2 weeks, and it's just been so nice. I absolutely adore her, and Alex warmed up to her so much while she's been here, even learning a few words in Hebrew.
I just wish I felt as close to my own family, or that we lived closer to DH's family

I know it's not the same but do you have a web cam? My sister bought us all one when she moved to Aruba. We use Skype to talk to her.

Yeah we have one and use it all the time so that MIL can see Alex, but it's not the same
Last night, as Alex was putting on a little show for MIL, I saw her tearing up and she turned to me and said that she wants me to put Alex on the webcam for her every single night for her
