I'm sorry you've had such bad luck with your anniversary celebration. I agree with the other posters about going to counseling. It may help you find a way to come to terms with everything.

He just will not leave as much as we ask him to. He brought his gf in to our family doctor, into our church, people run into hi at the supermarket, he parks his car near here and takes the train..he doesn't even LIVE here anymore, but he won't stay away.
We have a beautiful home and we can't really afford to move (especially since my dad is screwing her and leaving her disabled, unable to work adn with absolutely no $$), but my mom really feels like she has to.
I can't even take the subway b/c instead fo taking the train from HIS house, he drives here to take our train. WHY?!?!??!

I agree with the counseling suggestion. It can't hurt, so maybe just try it and see how it goes. Time is so precious and you dont want to waste it by being angry with him. Counseling can help you let go of that anger..... Its not to say you will let him back into your life but it can get you to the point where you run into him and dont get upset at all......

This is actually not true. It will change everything about how you deal with it and it will show you different ways of handling it. Trust me, I was one angry chick...you HAVE to do something for your own sake. Did you know that stress causes cancer?

Honestly, I don't think any amount of counseling would make him and his gf being at the restaurnat with people from church not ruin my anniversary dinner
