I'm so FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!

My AF is so irregular. I never know when she is going to show her ugly head.
I'm pretty worried that when we actively ttc, which will be very soon, I'm going to have problems.

I have always been irregular and it didn't bother me...it just meant one month without AF..woohoo!
But, now I never know when I'm going to ovulate, Ovulation tests don't seem to work for me.

Sorry, I just needed to vent!!!

. I totally understand. I haven't seen AF since Feb. I was offically off BC in January. I went to see my DR last week and she sent me for blood work and next week she is sending me for a sono to check my ovaries. She said that she is not all concerned just yet because of the BC and because we only been trying for about 3 months. But it gets so frustrating because I don't know what to do. I want to chart and temp and use my OPKs but I don't know when is the right time. I am always test randomly and always get the same BFN.
Sometimes I feel that all this BD is just for practice until AF finally shows....but so far she hasn't and I have no signs that she is in the neighborhood either. I really just want my . so that I can have a fresh start.

I totally understand where you are coming from except I was never on BC. I never know when the right time to test using my OPKs...it's so frustrating!!

If AF is irregular I recommend temping and charting. It will give you a TON of insight into how your body is working. It will also be helpful down the road if you do not get PG and need to see the MD - you will already be armed with info, instead of being asked to start.

my friend was very irregular, she dint use OPK or anything, just relaxed and did it every other month, she was preggo within a year...me on the other hand am impatient

I was also frustrated about not knowing and thought regular opk were annoying.
I got the clearblue easy fertility monitor. It is much easier b/c the monitor does the reading. I helps keep track of my cycle. It's $$$, but I find peace of mind worth it.

You are not alone!!

Mine were so far off and I didn't even ovulate for years until the doctors figured me out. I used the saliva ovulation predictor kit. It's reusable and accurate! This way I could check it every day during my cycle and got used to any patterns. If you want more info, FM me!
