I'm home from ER...
they only got 7 eggs. I know that's not bad, but judging by the # of follicles I had, I was hoping for a few more... now I'm going to be on pins and needles waiting until tomorrow to see how many of them fertilize 
We hit major traffic on the LIE on the way there and my BP was through the roof by the time I got there- we walked in 1 min before I was supposed to be there... I really thought we were going to be so late that we were going to miss my ER! They took it again before I went in and it was still high, but not like it was. The anestesiologist said it remained higher than it should throughout the whole procedure- and then after I was dressed and they took my last set before releasing me- it was totally normal. The nurse said I must've been terrified- and combine that w/ some last minute stress- it makes for a lovely combination...
I'm feeling really crummy. My left ovary area is killing me- and my right is sore but not like my left. When I came out of the retrieval I thought I was going to get sick a few times, but that finally passed. Just took my first rounds of meds for the day and am going to try to sleep some more...

I am glad everything went well. 7 is not bad. I'll be praying for you. I was very crampy after my er. Rest all day.

I'm sorry you're feeling crummy. Take a nice nap in the A/C we'll bite our nails together until tomorrow. What time do you think they will call?

I felt awful after my ER as well. Honestly, they told me not to walk around...but when I told them how awful I felt, they said some air may have gotten "up there" and maybe I should walk around (this was Olga who told me). So just take it easy and give a call.
And don't worry about those follicles. I know its easier said than done...but you never know...they may all fertilize and be perfect! Hang in there

yeah its over!! 7 is great, he probably only took the ones that were large enough and mature looking. You probably still have some small eggs in you, wonder if that is why you are uncomfortable. Or did he take everything out?
OK, praying for a great fertility report tomorrow and all mature eggies.

Don't stress over the number...7 is still a good amount...
My friend who I met at Cornell had only 2 eggs retrieved and only one was mature...it fertilized and she is now 27 weeks pregnant with a healthy boy!!!! so it only takes one!!!!!

7 is a great number!! It only takes one!!! Get some rest and do not do too much. I pushed myself a little after the ER and regretted it. Rest, rest, rest!!

The same thing happened to my friend. She got two eggs, one matured and she has a two year old son now. She did IVF at 44 and a half too.

Thanks Gerty It's funny- that's the first thing I said to my DH- that at least we shouldn't have to worry about any OHSS (which I was completely dreading the possibility of)...so that was the silver lining
We'll see what tomorrow brings...
