I'm Furious!
Penn Furniture is here delivering our new bed and dining room table. We bought both at their going out of business sale. We told our salesman that we weren't closing on our new place until September so the table was going to be stored in a garage. He assured us the table and all six chairs were brand new in a box.
Well, there is NO BOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm livid. Now my brand new 100% real wood table is sitting on a flimsy piece of cardboard covered with a flannel sheet in the garage instead of being packed untouched in the original box.

Can you see if they can bring you boxes...that STINKS!! I would definitely want them more protected then that...urr...
BTW...how was the sale? I pass Penn Furniture everyday & wonder how good the prices are...?

Is it possible the delivery company was not aware of this? A couple of times I had furniture delivered the items were removed from the box and brought into my apartment with just the foamy cushion stuff wrapped around it.
Honestly, I am sure they are fine where they are. Maybe get some plastic drop cloths from Home Depot to cover and put under the legs to protect them from getting dripped on or something like that.
