I'm BAAAAAACKKKK!!!!!!!! Introducing Mason Giovanni!!
Hi Girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First off-thank you all SO MUCH for your delivery vibes and congrats...words cannot even describe the joy and love you feel in your heart when you become a mommy...I swear, and every day it just intensifies more and more 
Thursday was definitely a whirlwind....in a nutshell I walked into the appointment for the amnio feeling crampy (like mild AF cramps) thinking it was just the baby's head really low.....after the sono & amnio they hooked me up to a fetal stress test (which is routine procedure), and the cramps started to intensify...ummmm YEAH, they were contractions.  Had I not been at the doctors I would have had no clue what they felt like. SO bottom line is-if you're at the end of your pregnancy feeling ANY cramping, no matter how mild, call your OB.
I'll post my birth story when I get a chance-the C section wasn't bad at all, BUT it was realy weird as it was happening-but I tell you, once DH and I heard our baby let out a cry, it was the greatest moment of our lives.
Recovery has been good (I've been told I'm one of the lucky ones), but I'm not gonna lie-it's painful and the stitches are not easy. But there is NOTHING to fear at all.
I definitely packed a great hospital bag (yes, I did have it with me on Thursday THANK GOD)-I will post a list either later tonight or some time tomorrow for you.
Mason is SO amazing, I literally keep crying bc I am so happy and filled with the most amazing love I have ever felt. He is a great baby, LOVES breastfeeding, and does all the same movements and gestures that he did in my belly. It's WILD!)
Something that our hospital nurses and lactation nurses swear by is "Skin to Skin" with your baby...I'll try to find a pic or an article on it to share with you, but basically it's an amazing way of holding your baby (in diaper only) on your chest (shirtless) so they can feel like they're in the womb and hear your heartbeat. I STRONGLY encourage it, it is the best way to bond with your baby and comfort him/her. Mason and I do it at least 2 hours a day, it is such a wonderful moment to have.
I promise I'll still be posting away on here (I love you girls!!) so I can see all of your beautiful babies being born.
