If you went into labor early (before your EDD)...
Please tell me:
1 - what # DC was it for you
2 - how many days/weeks before your EDD did you go into labor
3 - any clue you might go early (feeling contractions, feeling sick, etc) or did it totally catch you off guard?
I am only 34 weeks and yes already getting impatient LOL but this my third, cut me some slack!

1 - what # DC was it for you - It was my 1st
2 - how many days/weeks before your EDD did you go into labor - 3 weeks to the day
3 - any clue you might go early (feeling contractions, feeling sick, etc) or did it totally catch you off guard? - it really caught me off guard. The only inkling I got was at a Drs appt earlier in the day they told me my fluids were a bit low but it was not a worry.

Re: If you went into labor early (before your EDD)...
I am just about 30 weeks with my 3rd and I just know I will go early! It's freaking me out, I can't get it out of my head!
Anyway, with my first, he came nearly 3 weeks early, at a whopping 9 lbs 7 oz. Totally unexpected, my water broke while I was sleeping and that was it.
My second came 10 days early. I had period like cramps for a few days and then full on labor hit one night.
Not sure what makes me think I will go early again. I do have high blood pressure, I am on meds for it, and it's still high. I think the stress of always worrying about that, plus my GD, is what makes me think the worst!

Re: If you went into labor early (before your EDD)...
With my first dc, I went into labor six days before my EDD. I was pretty much caught off guard other than a dull backache the day before and of.

Re: If you went into labor early (before your EDD)...
Please tell me:
1 - what # DC was it for you Went early with both DDs
2 - how many days/weeks before your EDD did you go into labor: was 3w1d early with both DDs
3 - any clue you might go early (feeling contractions, feeling sick, etc) or did it totally catch you off guard? With my first I woke up with contractions at 445am. I freaked cause I wasn't expecting that (not going early, just being woken up by them lol) And with my second I was watching a movie with DH and around 10pm I started cramping. Managed to sleep and woke up in the early am with contractions.

Re: If you went into labor early (before your EDD)...
Did you go early or late with your other two? I went late with #1 and #2 and my OB told me that people that tend to overcook tend to overcook. I don't like to rush it, I have easy pregnancies so I don't mind it, but if I was in a hurry for this one to arrive I'd be disappointed!

Re: If you went into labor early (before your EDD)...
Went early with both #1 3 weeks early and #2 almost 7 weeks early. My water broke with both of them. Had slight cramping with DD #1 all day before water broke but with my DS #2 I was totally caught off guard. After my water broke with him, I had to be induced. This is my third and I am freaking out that I will be early as my DR is pretty convinced I am not going full term.

Re: If you went into labor early (before your EDD)...
For DS #1 I went into labor 11 days early
I thought the whole pregnancy I was due earlier than the doc said
And he came fast. Got to the hospital around 7am and he was born at 9:30 am exactly. Hopefully #2 comes just as easy lol

1 - what # DC was it for you Number 1 2 - how many days/weeks before your EDD did you go into labor 3 weeks 3 - any clue you might go early (feeling contractions, feeling sick, etc) or did it totally catch you off guard? I was on bed rest and being monitored for, and eventually had, preeclampsia...never really felt contractions, even when I was hooked up..they weren't ever earth shattering but bronchitis, stress, and being on my feet a lot brought on high blood pressure and preterm labor at 32 weeks...

Late with my first...had to be induced, then had a c/s so my 2nd was a scheduled c/s at 39 weeks. This one is scheduled for 39 weeks as well.
But on the day of my scheduled c/s with my 2nd I was having contractions like I might have gone on my own that day anyway.

Re: If you went into labor early (before ur EDD)...
1 - what # DC was it for you- 1st child
2 - how many days/weeks before your EDD did you go into labor: I went 15 days early. My water broke and than I was in 22 hours of hard labor before finally having a c-sec
3 - any clue you might go early (feeling contractions, feeling sick, etc) or did it totally catch you off guard? The night before my due date I felt a lot of pressure. I was walking around Target with my dh and I swore to him it was the last time I was going out anywhere. I couldn't take the pressure. The next morning my water broke in bed. I also had a shortening cervix and was only off bedrest for a few days when my water broke.

Please tell me:
1 - what # DC was it for you
DD#2 (DD#1 was at 41 weeks - had to be induced)
2 - how many days/weeks before your EDD did you go into labor
DD#2 was 36weeks,5days - came so quick it was an unintended all natural labor!
3 - any clue you might go early (feeling contractions, feeling sick, etc) or did it totally catch you off guard?
Braxton Hicks contractions on/off for about a week, dropped about 2 weeks prior (although from what I read, you don't drop after the first pregnancy), slow loss of mucous plug for a week with bloody show ~2 days prior.
When I did go into labor, the contractions seemed to come from nowhere and were 5 minutes apart. I was driving on my way to the doctor for a scheduled appt and was admitted right after.
I am only 34 weeks and yes already getting impatient LOL but this my third, cut me some slack!
From my experience, the old saying "every pregnancy is different" is completely true.

1 - what # DC was it for you. 1st
2 - how many days/weeks before your EDD did you go into labor. Almost 2weeks
3 - any clue you might go early (feeling contractions, feeling sick, etc) or did it totally catch you off guard?
Totally off guard - went to my dr appt and she said " um, you're 5-6cm, you need to go to the hospital. How are you not feeling this?"

Re: If you went into labor early (before your EDD)...
It was my first
It was 21 days before my EDD
I had been having contractions but I wasn't even aware of them until the Nurse pointed them out during one of my NSTs. I had Gestational Diabetes so I was monitored once a week. They had me stop working since I was on my feet all day long and they diminished greatly.
My water broke at 2:15am on Tuesday. Saturday we were at the Oyster Festival. I walked a little bit, but DH had me take breaks often. Sunday I had a massage. Monday night we dtd. Totally not planned, but I feel everything together made me go into labor.

Re: If you went into labor early (before your EDD)...
I was late with DC1. But with DC2 I was 4 days early.
I really had no indication other than BH contractions getting a little more frequent.
Hope you go early this time around.

Re: If you went into labor early (before your EDD)...
1 - DC #1
2 - 38w, 6d
3 - I had contractions on and off for a few days and my belly dropped drastically a few days before I went into labor. I also felt a little sick the night before and my mom told me I looked "off" as well.
