If you or your DH is sick?
Who sleeps in the bed?
I'm not feeling very well and this is the first time since we got married. I dont know if i should sleep on the couch or just tough it out with DH in bed.

Both of us sleep in the bed. I would never ask him to sleep elsewhere and vice versa. I'd rather take my chances, and so would he. But that being said, I think he's been sick once in the 7 years we've been together, so that might have something to do with us not leaving the bed.

We both sleep in the bed - unless one of us is coughing really bad or just keeping the other up - in which case I think that person usually goes somewhere else.

Same here.
Ralphing is usually cause for the non-sick partner to leave the bed! LOL Poor DH runs into the other room for cover- leaving only a garbage can to console me out of fear that I will (by accident) ralph on him!

Depends, if he is sick and it's with something I really don't want to catch I'll go in the guest room. Otherwise we both usually stay in the bed.

Well I used to give him the bed of he was sick, But he would never leave if I was sick so I stopped, so now if one of us is sick most likey the other will get it too so we stick it out in the same bed.

Sick on the couch.
It's usually me. When I get sick, it hangs around a lot and I tend to get no sleep, coughing and stuff.
It's easier to sleep sitting up on the couch too. And I feel bad if I cause him to lose sleep also, or if he gets sick because of me.
We even have a "sicky cup". A plastic cup with a rubber band around it so we know not to share.

Both of us sleep in the same bed. The only time I slept in a different bed and room was when he contracted scarlet fever 2 years ago. Didn't need to get that.

There have been times where I was SICK - like pneumonia or strep and DH has chosen to sleep on the couch for a night or two, but these have been like week long contagious illnesses. For flus/colds, we stay in the same bed.

it depends on the illness. usually i'll sleep on the bed if im sick and he'll stay on the couch - i'm all over the place when im sick, so it's uncomf. for him to lie next to me - if its just a cold or something small, we sleep in bed tog.

We both sleep in the bed...we have never gotten sick from each other yet! Its so weird...I've had a really bad flu one year and he's had some bad colds...and yet, we never got it from each other.

We both sleep in the same bed. I'm actually sick now and have been sleeping in the same bed. When I have a coughing fit I leave the room and come back when it's over. I don't wanna wake him since he gets up so early! I can't give up my bed I luv my bed!!
