If you have a larger stomach/mid section...please read.
I hate even having to ask this question but I need to find a good brand of pants/jeans that would fit me. 2 years ago I was a size 2...now after 2 kids I am far from that. I just went to the mall to find a pair of jeans and nothing fits right. My stomach and waist is so much larger than it was before kids. everything I tried on was so tight on my waist that my stomach flab was so bad. Please help me

I have the same problem I' would love to hear some suggestions. If they fit my legs the waist is too small, if they fit my waist the rest is too big. I've often joked that I am going to design my own jeans called the funnel fit

I actually HATE wearing jeans but recently found that Old Navy has a new fit called "The Dreamer" and they have changed my mind..typically, the legs are so wide on jeans that are not low rise but these have a nice, modern looking leg (boot cut, but not sailor's boot cut, kwim?)...it's worth giving them a try..I paid like $19.50 and get compliments on them...

I am also a huge fan of the Dreamer jeans in Old Navy. And they run big, so be sure to try them on first to get the correct size. They sell for $32 normally, but if you wait for a sale or use a coupon, you can pay even less.
I also like Gap jeans, but they are much more expensive.

i just bought the Dreamer jeans and they are awesome. I think they run a little big too. They fit me fine when I tried them on but then after wearing them a couple of times they really stretched out, so you might want to buy a size down.

Another rec for the Old Navy Dreamer Jeans---I am 3 months PP and they are perfect, they hold that tummy stuff in bc the rise isn't super low but they don't look like "mom jeans"

Re: If you have a larger stomach/mid section...please read.
all my extra weight is in my belly too. I just bought a pair of "premium bootcut" jeans from the GAP. That is usually wear I get all my jeans.
Recently I lost 25lbs and I am considering taking my old jeans to a tailor , which is what they always say to do on What Not to Wear. I would need my jeans taken in by the butt, thigh & knee areas
Maybe you can consider that too?

This is me as well, I just go for a brand that has stretch in it.
A quick tip, while you're putting on your makeup/doing your hair put a towel on inside of the side of your jeans. (Basically on your waist)This helps stretch them out for a more comfortable fit.
Also, wear jeans that are at least belly button high, the lower jeans tend to push the flab up.

Re: If you have a larger stomach/mid section...please read.
I recently bought the yummie tummie long tank top. I didn't think it would work but it does. I do not leave the house without wearing it. (I've had to buy a few) I recently gained about 10lbs and it's all in my stomach, my butt and legs are still the same size so the jeans fit nice everywhere except my stomach. I just wear the tank top and it keeps everything looking straight and thin. My dh calls it saran wrap..; )
