If you had irregular periods before the pill
were they still totally irregular after? I'm so hoping for a bcp miracle  .

No - I had really irregular periods before - sometimes would be two weeks, some times two months.
I was on BCP for 9 years. Came off it a few months ago and all my cycles have been btwn 28-31 days.
However the horrible symptoms I had before but not on BCP are back.

Seriously? That's fantastic! Well, not the symptoms of course  but I've already gotten myself prepared for not getting it and having to do metformin or something just because of how I was before. I was / am on it 9 years as well. Thanks - this gives me hope!

Since coming off my pill, my cycles have been 40 days, 37 days and 33 days. They are irregular but not like they used to be.
Before BC, I would get my period anywhere from 35 days to 60 days. It was awful.

I don't know how it works but my cycles have become irregular after years on the pill!

They are much more irregular now then they were before I started taking bcp.
