Who has irregular periods?
I'm pretty irregular and have always been. Is anyone else very irregular?
Do you think I could still use OPK?

Re: Who has irregular periods?
I don't have "regular" 28-day cycles so the first & only month that I used opk's, I just tested from day 8 & on until I got a + (which was cd 25)
My advice would be to buy them from the dollar store at least the first month & use them the same time each day

Re: Who has irregular periods?
You might a lot of info from charting temps as well. My cycles are wacky and it gives me so sort of direction.

Me! They have been between 20 and 50 days. Very frustrating, but i do use OPK tests and I just started charting this cycle.

Re: Who has irregular periods?
OPKs can get expensive. Irregularity is cruel -- especially when you get your hopes up during an extra long cycle.
Good luck to you!

Do you think being irregular will make my ttc more difficult?

Re: Who has irregular periods?
I'm very irregular. Last time I came off the pill my cycles were 44, 62, 38, 39, 74, and then I went back on the pill. Now I'm off again and its only day 24 into my cycle so we'll see!
Me using OPKs would probably be a waste of $$. I bought one kit but I figured I'd wait for EWCM, but I haven't gotten any in these 24 days. Oh well
I expect I'll be joining the infertility board one day

They do get expensive, that is true. But they are useful when you aren't regular. You may be able to tell in advance whether your period will be early or late, etc. Also, when you are are regular it is easier to know when you O. When you are less regular, you are more likely to need help to figure out when you O, hence the need for OPKs. You just need more of them!!!

ITA. My cycles have been in the range from 30-42 days (not including my first cycle off the pill at 80-something days). I use about 14 OPKs a month on average. I buy them in bulk from Saveontests.com so that helps with the costs.

Re: Who has irregular periods?
Another question:
When you use opks do you start using them everyday?
