if you had a repeat csection with #2 etc
did your practice do internals? I was surprised at my 36w appt when my OB said no internals for repeat csection patients. Not that I am complaining, just surprised!

I was told the same thing. My dr. said there was no reason for them. Yay for no internals! lol

Just once and the second week she said she didn't want to torture me since we were doing a csection. The next week (at 38 wks) I delivered.

No. I had a internal at 36 weeks, then again when I was going in for the c-section. I think it was more because of my history then anything.

I had three c/s and only had internals with the first (since that was not a planned one) Its a nice perk!

My regular Dr said No, but I had one appt with another Dr while my reg Dr was on vacation and he did one "just in case" I think I was 36 weeks

My Dr. said internals would start at 36 weeks and I'm a repeat c-section. What's up with that??

i had a repeat c-section on 12/5: no internals for me and I was a little suprised at first. But after hearing how painful they are, i was happy i didnt have to go through them.
