DH despises the fact that I still have my maiden name on my SS card and my bank account and credit card.
My name on SS is Gina Middle Maiden Married. The woman at SS said I would regret it, why do you care? I asked......
DMV wouldn't let me do that though.

DH didn't care what I did as long as I didn't hyphenate. It would have sounded like a had mouth full of marbles if I had hyphenated our last names.

Yup. I recently finally made it two last names and he still isn't happy. He really wants me to just take his and I'm the only in-law who hasn't, I'm the black sheep.

No, DH doesn't care. Although, I think his family may have some issues with it! I think DH just gets a little annoyed when he gets Mr. Mylastname.

No, it doesn't bother him at all. In fact, he has said that it would be weird if I did change my name. It's been mine for so long...and changing it wouldn't solidify us any more than we already are.

Maybe b/c I always tell him I'm waiting to see if the marriage sticks before I change it

I'm a double barrelled girl, my son is Noah Hislastname. My name is Mrs Racheeeee Mylastname-hislastname, and thats the way we like it.
No problems whatsoever. We like it.

I hyphenated, and DH understood my reasons for wanting to... our children will have his last name and that he felt strongly about...
Honestly, our names dont sound fabulous together, but legally I wanted to have my name in there too- so cards and informal things I go by his last name...
