Re: If you could relive one day in your life...
My first date with DH- I would love to relive the ah-ha feeling of knowing I met the "one".
Close second- the birth of my DD- minus the pain and fear.

Re: If you could relive one day in your life...
The day we got engaged.
The day our pupper Cooper got a clean bill of health
The Sunday the very last episode of The Sopranos was on. Not because of that show, but because FH, me and dog just stayed in bed alllll daaaay loooong watching a L&O SVU marathon. We only got up to pee and get more food... to me, it doesn't get much better than that

Re: If you could relive one day in your life...
From an opbserver's standpoint- the day I met my husband. To relive, no changes necessary, the first full day on our honeymoon.

Re: If you could relive one day in your life...
A few come to mind:
August 6, 2006 - Wedding day. My tummy hurt that morning..was popping tums all dayand I didn't get to eat much. also would've liked to dance with DH more than I did.
July 29, 2005 - the day I got engaged. It was exactly 8 years to the day when DH and I started dating.
Anytime in the winter/spring of 2000. That summer my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. if she had been to the doctor earlier that year, maybe she'd still be alive today.

Re: If you could relive one day in your life...
I think I have two- The day of my first date with DH. We had so much fun together and it was so exciting! and that first kiss....
The other is the day my grandmother died. I wish I never left the hospital and she didn't have to pass alone.

Re: If you could relive one day in your life...
you know, I had a REAL blast at my wedding, so just reliving that day would be amazing.
for changes, 8/20/1997 (thereabouts)...it was the last day I saw my grandfather before he died. We were in Florida for 10 what I felt like were the longest days ever (I was there for my 20th in what was truly the town of "God's waiting place" to me at the time) and it was right before I left to come home.
He knew he was gonna die, we both knew it was the last time I would see him alive...I remember our hands outstretched until they slipped out of each other as I walked away. One last hug and maybe an I'll miss you. It was the first death I truly lived (I was 20, my grandma died when I was 13, great-uncles and aunts died while I was in high school...but this one I was mature enough to "get") I wasn't terrible close with him in a mushy way, he loved us to death in his old school way and was so emotional when we left.
He died on August 25, 1997. Ten years ago this month. I still feel the pang of that moment sometimes.
Oh and and October of 2001 when I realized my college crush had perished in 9/11...he was like a big bro to me later on and I was heartbroken. I had just seen him a bunch of times when I moved to LB, and I knew he had gotten married the Nov before and was expecting a baby. I found out by reading a fundraiser flyer posted in the bar...bad moment.

Re: If you could relive one day in your life...
The day our son was born. By far the best day of our lives.
Also our wedding day, specifically when DH and I saw each other for the first time and then were in the limo on the way to get married.
The day we got engaged is also high on the list.

Re: If you could relive one day in your life...
July 9th 2001. My mom was having surgery to remove a lump in her breast during her first battle with breast cancer. She had told me the week before dh (then boyfriend) and i were leaving for our cross country trip. I was too selfish back then to realize i should have been there for her. instead i sent flowers.

Oh, boy, good one, Daniela. I'd have to say there is probably a 3 way tie but I'm going with Feb. 20th, 2006 - the day I first saw TWO peanuts on the sonogram
