IF you are voting for Trump. Explain Why.
SO the other poll stated that so many people on here are voting for Donald Trump. If you are one of them please take a moment to explain why as I am completely at a loss as to why anyone would vote for him. So if he is your candidate please share your reasons why.
No drama but I am so in the dark as to why people would think he would be a good president and represent americans worldwide.

My cousin stated to me "I want America great again, so I'm voting for Trump". I asked her what policies she likes and she said "I don't know, I don't follow politics but I want American back to being awesome again!"
I just rolled my eyes and dropped it.

Trump is not my first choice, but, he is not my last choice either, that distinction belongs to Cruz. I can see Trumps appeal for a large segment of Americans who feel rightly or wrongly that their needs as a white wealthy American would be served well by trump. They want to preserve the good thing they have going for them. Which, while self serving, I can understand. There are a lot of people who are Angry with the establishment. For them, he represents that. Fwiw, I am a registered Democrat.

But a huge part of his demographic are under-educated low-income Americans. So they have no interest or benefit in what he can do for rich people - to them, he appeals to their racist, jingoistic ideologies.

Maybe I am missing something? I cannot align logic to someone who says something along the lines of " I know words I have the best words".....if my 6 year old said that I would ask him to explain himself and he could but.........a presidential hopeful stating that he has "words"....
Again seeking any logical reason why Donald Trump should be the next president of the United States of America.

Do you really think anyone is going to list why they like Trump. Before anyone even said anything there has been a negative backlash.
I wish there was no election coming up as both lead candidates are not one that I see fit running the country. I think it is a sad state of affairs when neither Party can come up with viable candidates and we are going to be forced to choose between the lesser of two evils. This is why Trump has such a following, not because he is the best person for the job but because people are fed up with "politicians" and the system.

If I were 100% convinced that I would be voting for a certain candidate in the election then certainly I would be happy to list my reasons for giving them my vote.
At this point I am not happy with any of the candidates from either party. BUT the whole trump thing blows my mind. I honestly thought he would have self combusted months ago but he keeps on going and I honestly do not know why.
In the beginning I got his appeal - the big business man coming in to save the country and make America great again but as he unravels and we see what his core beliefs are and how his candidacy for US president has us being laughed at worldwide ...I am searching for answers. No one seems to have any. Newscasters equate it to our love of reality TV but its gotten out of hand and its not in fact reality TV but reality.

I know quite a few educated people who plan on voting for Trump.
Their reasons include:
They agree with his stance on immigration/deportation
They agree with his stance on education
They agree with the need for massive governmental cuts due to excess
They have been fed up with the way in which Obama has run this country
They believe that his more extreme views will be tempered by Congress
There are some of the arguments individuals have for voting for Trump

I'll bite.
I'll vote for Trump, or any GOP candidate for that matter over whatever garbage the democrats put out.
For the past eight years under the change dummy, my taxes went up, my healthcare costs skyrocketed, terrorism has gotten worse.
Hillary will be four more years of the same joke. The liberal that Sanders is would be even worse, he truly frightens me. Thank god it at least looks like Hillary will beat Sanders so that's one huge bullet dodged.

Very true. In the other post, almost half of those in the poll chose Trump but none of them left comments.

I agree. That was a really mean comment.
super mean and really judgmental. It is as bad as saying Sanders supporters all want a free lunch without having to work for it. We are just better than boiling it down to trivialities like that.

Sorry, I didn't exactly mean it that way. I'm just taking how he, himself, described some of his supporters. He said he LOVED them and seemed to put quite an emphasis on that part during his last victory speech. It seems like he is implying it.
I don't think all the supporters are stupid. I just think they are only listening to soundbites.
