$50K lifetime benefit, but just for IVF. IUIs are unlimited. I think that's really great insurance and I'm so thankful. But $hit, if DH doesn't get paid well, he might as well have great insurance!
wow what insurance is this

Re: IF insurance poll
My insurance (which is fully paid for by my company) covers diagnostic, meds and IUI's. No IVF treatment.
DH's insurance (which I have to pay $300 a month for) covers 2 IVF cycles.
Even though I have to pay for DH's insurance, I am very thankful that it covers IVF. I know we would pay alot more for an IVF treatment than I pay for a year's worth of his insurance.

Re: IF insurance poll
My insurance covers everything, but there are restrictions with IVF/IUI. I get a total of 3 combined attempts of IUI/IVF for my lifetime max. So I'll probably be paying OOP for IUI's (if DH has enough sperm to even do IUI) and keep the benefits for IVF.

Re: IF insurance poll
We have Aetna - they will cover all diagnostics, unlimited IUI, $10K max for IVF. Meds are treated sep and we have unlimited coverage for that.
We prev had Oxford until Jan 1st and it was the same with same $10k lifetime max.

Re: IF insurance poll
my insurance covers all tests, visits, and meds, but not IUI or IVF. But my company does have a seperate plan that gives you up to $15,000 towards IVF. Still looking to see what DH's insurance covers.

Re: IF insurance poll
Diagnostics only...bloodwork etc.
We paid OOP for everything and went with a shared risk plan.
