IAMMRSBROWN IVF JOURNAL ... UPDATE 1/30
Hi girls. I figured Id begin a journal since the other journals on here have been pretty helpful for me.
I was diagnosed many years ago with PCOS. Never had normal periods. DH and I tried for a little while, but knowing I wasnt ovulating I knew I had to see an RE. Over a year ago I had a consult with Dr.B He put me on Metformin since we weren't ready to actively start TTC he wanted to see if I would get regulated from the Metformin. Miraculously, I did. I began getting a period every 65 or so days, like clockwork after 6 months of 1500mg of Metformin/day. Unfort Dr.B is in LI and his NYC hours weren't good for me so I looked for another reputable RE by my house.
10/24 1st appt with RE
10/27 HSG (found that I have one completely blocked tube)
11/1 Endometrial biopsy
11/7 DH had SA
11/11 D&C (to check for hyperplasia) .. results came back all normal
12/2 Mammography
12/7 Started Provera (CD 49)
12/11 last Provera pill
12/14 Breast ultrasound as a follow up for Mammo. Results came back normal.
12/16-12/31 BCP
12/28-1/4 10 units of Lupron
1/5-1/7 5 units Lupron
75 Gonal F
75 Menopur
1/8 Monitoring day ... bunch of very small follies on the right and left.
1/8 5 units Lupron
75 Gonal F
75 Menopur
1/9 5 units Lupron
75 Gonal F
75 Menopur
1/10 Monitoring day: few bigger follies in there. 
They adjusted the meds:
1/10 5 units Lupron
37.5 Gonal F
75 Menopur
1/11 5 units of Lupron
37.5 Gonal F
75 Menopur
1/12 MONITORING DAY ... was in the U/S for a while :) Heard her say a lot of 10's and a few 11,12,13's
1/12 5 units Lupron
37.5 Gonal F
18.75 Menopur (1/4 CC)
1/13 MONITORING DAY ... ton of follies, biggest around 16, average 11-12. Feeling some discomfort, not bad just uncomfortable around my ovaries.
1/13 5 units Lupron
75 Gonal F
37.5 Menopur
1/14 MONITORING DAY ... HCG DAY!!!!
10:30pm will be the HCG shot
1/15 MONITORING DAY
1/16 ER Back from the ER. Everything went smoothly. Im feeling tired and slight cramping but Im fine. They retrieved 13 eggs. Tomorrow we get the fert report ... Tonight I begin PIO.
1/19 Transfer ... went well, out of 10 fert only 5 survived. Transferred 2, will see if the other 3 make it to freeze.
1/20 Bloated feeling finally getting better. I am done 8 pounds from the highest I was at the worst point (2 days ago!!!)
1/23 Progesterone test - normal
1/24 cramps
1/26 cramps
1/27 FRER ... POSITIVE!!!!!
1/30 OFFICIAL BETA 192
2/1 BETA #2 477
2/8 BETA #3 4772
2/14 SAW HB :) BETA #4 22,461

Ok so what was it like? Anesthesia, prep, etc. What did you wear or bring with you? i.e. to be comfortable afterwards etc?
Did DH have to give his sample there or do his business at home? Do you get to watch the fert process?
I am sorry that I am asking so many questions! It's just that I am so anxious, I feel like I know nothing!
