I want to share cake pops I made. So easy!
This is my first time doing cake pops. It was very time consuming but relatively easy and not as messy as I thought it would be.
I'm doing this for a barnyard theme baby shower. This is the first of four animals. I'm doing pigs, cows, sheep and chick. I will post the other 3 animals when I'm done.

Those are perfection! You should be extra proud, you may have found them easy, but cake pops are a biiiiiitch!  
ETA: What'd you use for the ears?

Thank you everyone. It really wasn't that bad. I watched a lot of You Tube videos before I start.
I used fondant for the ears and snout.
Here is a picture of the sheep cake pop. My coworker thinks I should add eyes, ears and mouth to the sheep. Seems like a lot of work. Do you think it needs it?

I think they could use a little detail. I probably wouldn't go as far as ears, but maybe a little melted chocolate in a piping bag for eyes and a smile. They are adorable though!
ETA: Bakerella does these and she adds a tiny heart sprinkle for a nose. It's cute and not too difficult!

That sheep is adorable! Where would I get the heart sprinkle from?
I tried using melted chocolate in a piping bag for eyes but I didn't like the way it looked (same way I did the eyes for the pigs). White chocolate on dark chocolate doesn't cover very well. I can see the dark coming through the white. Maybe I should get some white candy coloring. Is there such a thing?
I have tiny white pearl candy which would be perfect for the eyes but I don't know how to attach it to the face. If I use a dab of chocolate it'll get messy.

There is a very tiny tube of wilton white icing I got from the grocery store, I used it on dark chocolate donuts for my Xmas reindeers, once it dried it was perfect :) since its just for eyes, you don't need much

Did you attach the nose and ears and then dip in chocolate. or is the whole thing fondant??

Thank you but the baby shower was last weekend. I didn't get a chance to add the eyes or heart to the sheep.:(

I dipped it in chocolate first then attached the ears and nose. It sticks better when the chocolate is wet but you have to make sure it sets a little otherwise it will slide off.

You have to add the coloring a little at a time. When I say little I mean just dipping the tip of a toothpick in the coloring. The chocolate and fondant is actually 2 different shades of pink. I think it looks better that way. It might hard to tell they're different shades of pink in my picture.
