I should be excited.....

To have a sono tomorrow, but instead I'm terrified! I'm so nervous that something will be wrong, always feeling like this s*cks!

I feel exactly the same and we are exactly a week apart! My sono is 5/26

I am 20 weeks in and STILL feel like this before every sono.

I am going tomorrow night too(should be 6 weeks 5 days, knock on wood) and I just posted on the pregnancy board how scared I am...I have barely any symptoms and i cannot concentrate at all right now.....Goodluck!!!!!!

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I found myself crying in the bathroom of the lab today bc I was terrified of a bad beta. I want to embrace this pregnancy and be excited BUT the truth is that I am so freaking afraid. I lay in bed at night and try to picture positive things (a baby in my arms, a baby nursery, me with a big belly) but instead I find myself playing out being told again that I am losing the baby. It reminds me of a line from a poem: "This is why I cry in the night/From the memory/ of being forever in the pre-trembling of a house that falls." It's like I'm always waiting for the house to fall.
The only thing that I think will make it better is getting through some milestones. You have your BFP. You have your good betas. Tommorrow you will have your heartbeat. I believe in time the fear will subside for you...and me. In the meantime though, i totally understand how you feel and just want to send lots of

im 14 weeks tomorrow and still feel that way all the time. i had some spotting sun night and mon morn and went to the dr mon expecting the worst. everything was perfect and i just had a blood clot but i cant shake the feeling. thankfully i LOVE my dr. he told me to come in next week too (or anytime i want) just for a quick sono to ease my nerves so i dont have to wait 3 weeks for my next appt.
