He's already a ladies man.
NONE of the baby books said anything about this! Seriously, who knew you could be in early, yet active labor for so long?! Dr even said this could go for weeks?!??!

This happened to my DD...she was 4cm dilated...and in active labor for almost a month She was miserable...even worse than miserable.
I can't offer much but...Hang in there....he's almost here.
DD told me if I said that to her 1 more time she was going to hang up on me

YES I do.
She wasn't comfortable sitting, laying down, standing and she wasn't working at the time...lets just say...It was probably one of the only times I was glad to be 5000 miles away
Working is propably a very good idea...keep your mind busy...it will keep you sane.

Contractions are a little stronger/more painful than they've been! 
Going to work - going to keep busy and hopefully see some change.

You're going to work?? I guess I can understand why....why waste days off before the baby comes.... Your coworkers and clients are going to Love you today!
Everyone check the traffic reports before heading out. There might be some traffic delays if Shorty's water breaks on one of the major highways!
Seriously though....is anyone in your family close enough to your job to take you to the hospital if you need to get there in a rush??

my coworker that's driving me in is a good friend that is actually looking forward to leaving work early and taking me to the hospital should anything happen
I'm swollen today too - for the first time this entire pregnancy, both wedding rings can't go on together (the past 2 days i could squeeze them on - today there's no shot), i have an ankle roll, and my face is puffy.
baby come out!

Crashing as well...
I had a very similar labor...I went into labor on a Friday at 8am and didn't have my daughter until Monday at 7:40am. 
My second labor was a little faster...I went into labor on a Tuesday night and had my second daughter Thursday at 12:59pm.
Good luck and I hope he decides that today is the day!!

Not to scare you, but since you're swollen, I would call your OB. Especially since your face is swollen - it CAN be a sign of preeclampsia. I got VERY swollen at the end, and had a c-section early due to preeclampsia. I would call and mention it just to be safe!

I think your son should by your a nice bottle of your favorite beverage after he gets out!!!!!!!!
I am the only one that can picture him coming out with a smile on his face...like "see what I made you all do" 
I wish you stronger peaking contractions, water breaking, and a swift delivery my darling.
