Best feeling ever!! It's a mini celebration in my household every time!!!
ETA: On a more serious note, if it really does become an issue though, ask your OB if you can take Milk of Magnesia (totally not spelt right). Apparently, if you push to hard it can start contractions! It's stimulant free so it's very easy on your system. My OB put me on it about 2 1/2 weeks ago - I take 1 tablespoon every night before bed. It's has made a world of difference. You don't get diareah from it it just makes it softer  and easier to go on a more consistent basis. Since starting it, the longest I've gone without going is 2 days

ty for the tips i have been doing colace and um plain glycerin supps
but this little gem that happened today was impressive and non medicated. i was a proud mama!!! lol jkjkjk!

Really, it can cause contractions?  Im glad I read this because I suffer from constipation and Im always struggling. This is good info, thanks!
