I hate it when DH has to go away for work..

DH had to leave at 9am this morning to leave for Albany for work till Friday morning. Just had to share how alone and empty I feel without him. Its only Sunday evening and I cant wait for him to come home already. Me and growing baby all alone till he gets home.

I hear ya. Dh goes away every now and then and I hate it. My house is so empty.

My DH does not have to go away but he leaves at 11:30am and does not come back until 12midnight I HATE IT! He does come home to check up me..but wow are the nights long and boring! to us!

I feel for you. My dh is away M-Th every week for work. Before he leaves, I usually pack him a note for him to read every day and I write it from the perspective of the baby. Every night when he reads it he calls me. It's really cute and helps him feel like he's connected to the baby.

I have a hard time here without him but I live for Friday when he's home then we try to make the most of the weekend.

I hate it when DH goes away. Last time he was away was a week in January. The next time I will be 37 weeks and I don't want him to go!

Last time he was away my mom came over and we did a lot of baby stuff together - washing clothes, registering, etc.

I had to go away on a business trip a couple weeks ago... it really stank running around ragged, with 16 hour days and 4 hour excela rides with my crumb. so stressful. Of course no one knows I'm preggo, so I had to suck it up, even when I was getting a bit dehydrated....

I felt like I was compromising my Crumb

In the end, I bet your DH is missing you and your little bean even more than you miss him.....

DH used to travel for work and I hated it. He doesn't anymore but just recently had to make a trip upstate for the week because his brother passed away and i'm too close to delivery and wansn't allowed to go. It was a very trying week.

Thank you all for such kind words. It helps me feel much better knowing other people went through what I am. It sounds so dramatic but its like I HATE getting in bed at night without him.

I'm sorry! But take this time to relax, maybe take a hot bath this week, read up on some baby stuff, watch a couple of chic flicks!

DH is going away this weekend and that's what I'm planning on doing!
