Is the back seat roomy enough for a car seat? DH is thinking of getting one and we usually use my car with DS, but I know there will be times he will have to put the seat in his car.

I have the red too, I love it. You have to call the DMV AFTER you get your real reg in the mail. My DH made fun of me because I wouldn't go in the HOV till I had the stickers even though the cops know the Prius & civic hybrid are the only cars that can. I'm averaging 46-50 MPG, my old car got 33MPG but I'm still LOVING the prius. Stinks we missed the tax rebate, but whatever its still SUCH a smart car.
DH works in the Hamptons & they are everywhere out there, its like the new "it" car in Water Mill and Bridgehampton
They do make funny bumper stickers like that for your truck!

I told DH about having to wait until the reg comes in the mail...that *****.  But like your hubby said, I don't think the PD will hassle him for not having the sticker, especially since he's driving the Prius. It's not like it's available in anything other than hybrid.
DH said the one dealer he was at sold 4 Priuses yesterday. (Is that how you make Prius plural?!  )
I got to sit in it last night...it's going to take some getting used to! LOL I'm old fashioned when it comes to keys, ignitions and gears.

That was my biggest concern. We need to be able to have 2 cars seat in the rear seat. Surprisingly, the Prius' back seat is the same size as our Jeep Cherokee. So yep, it can accomodate a car seat.

I never thought we'd be car twins but we now we are!!! Congrats to you & your DH on your new car, he's going to enjoy the crap out of his commute now!!!

We're financing, so it's $600 with the extended warranty (which is $60 more a month I believe) and no money down. With gas and insurance ($90 a month), our total monthly payment will be $750.
The scary part is that my DH was able to buy this car without any identification. All he had to do was fax over his license when he got home. Nobody ever asked to see that license when we showed up at the dealership to pick up the vehicle.

I drove it for the first time last night. DH has been busy having all the fun. It actually has pretty good pickup considering! If anything, it feels weak compared to our Jeep which has a Hemi V-8, but I'm not one for speed, that's my DH...I drive like a grandma these days.
