I FINALLY got to tell DH about my BFP.

he was a away on business Tuesday-Thursday and since i was bored i tested tuesday night and every day and night since then and kept getting BFP's!!! so i decided to wait till he came home last night to tell him instead of telling hiim on the phone. Here's how it happened- i made a "im going to be a big sister shirt" for our dog and put it on her when i knew he was on his way home from the airport. I heard Dh pull in the drive way about 9:45 so we both go to the front door. i open it for him, turn on the light in the foyer and the dog is jumping on him as usual and before the door is even closed behind him i say look at her new shirt she has something to tell you. he was like i can't read it cause she kept jumping. so i hold her still, he reads it aloud and says "i am going to be a b... b. . . big sister????????????" then he looks up with a huge smile on his face, probably as big as the one he had on his face when he proposed and when we got married. i said yup, i'm pregnant!!!!! and we just start hugging and kissing each other uncontrollablely. Then he was like OMG i'm in shock this is such an awesome surprise. i said don't worry i'm still in shock too. at this point we're both shaking and smiling like happy parents to be. i say thank god i finally got to tell you, do you know how hard this was for me to keep a scerect?? i said i knew since tuesday night!!!! he was like wow, good job!! i had no idea!! then about an hour later he was like so anything else going on?? and we just started cracking up.
Then when we were falling asleep we talked about waiting till c-mas to tell only our immediate families and then in february we'll make the big announcement. it was cute he was rubbing my belly when we fell asleep and kept telling me how much he loved me. and of course the dog was laying in bed resting her head on my belly. i swear she senses the hormone changes and know i'm preggers with a lil
