I couldn't do it
I was supposed to stop my bc pills this month but I just couldn't. I got so scared and panicked!!! I will take my last pack and then will stop. I have an appt. with Dr. Hanauer in 2 weeks so I am excited but scared.
I feel like a freak because I just could not handle it this month.

hollie - i feel the same way. i went off my pills but just thinking about whats going to happen makes me nervous.

I hear ya! I've put it off a number of times because of the overwhelming anxiety as well  It is a TOTALLY and COMPLETELY life changing decision! And, if like me, you are someone who doesn't usually like change - it doesn't get any bigger than this
You'll get there though I think I am finally here! As long as I don't chicken out this week

As a mom, I can tell you that you will never feel ready. I was so scared and you just do whatever you need to do as it comes. Go for it, there is nothing better.

I agree.
Back in April I got this burst of baby fever. So I figure I'd talk to my Dr. at my regular apointment in June. Well June came and I was scared to ask or tell her that we were going to try in the Fall, but I did tell her. And she prescribed prenatals. I was so scared (like you) to stop the BC.
But I remember venting on here about it and someone posted: It might take some time for your body to actually get back on track. And so I thought about it and took the prenatals just to get my cycle on track.
Well this Fall has come and almost gone, and I (we) pushed back the TTCing until next Fall - I got scared again, but at least my body should be on some type of track.
