I cannot catch a break
I went for a routine sono and found that my placenta moved way up and no longer a risk for prevea but then we had another scare last night as I spent the night in the hospital I had to go for emergancy surgury to put in a cerclog I was already 1cm dialated and my cervix was thinning and opening so I had to go and get sown up I came home this morning and I am now on strict bedrest they believe that I am at risk of going into labor early so at 24 weeks (I am 18 weeks tomorrow) we will get steriods so the baby will have a better chance to survive by increasing her lung function and then the hope is to open the stitch at 36 weeks and when I go I go. but there is a risk of me going even earlier so we are praying for the best that the stitch helps but its only 75% affective so please continue to pray for us and little Sophia.

I am so sorry you can't catch a break!
Do they have any idea why you started dialating? Did you ever have cervical surgery or issues? Or is this related to the previa?
The cerclage should work I believe, esp combined with bedrest.

Now no surguries down there but I am thinking that I have just an incompetant cervix which is probably why I lost my precious Megan last year at 17 weeks No clue why this happened

they have been checking my cervix every 2 weeks last time it was good

yup no infection but b/c they did a epidural they put me o mega antibiotics last night so if I did It would be gone
