I Bought This Piece For Only - With Pics (FIXED)
$100 from a yard sale. It is very sturdy and very good piece of furniture.
I am going to restain it. I am thinking of cherry color. Can someone suggest a few colors that would work nicely.
Any color that is dark but not extra dark would be fine.

Awesome find!! I actually like the painted look, but maybe something less yellow and more antique white. You would even paint the back of the hutch a different color to add some drama. (keep the shelves the same color as the whole thing and just the back of the inside a different color).

I would tell him to do it himself but he knows someone who always does refinishing works for us so that wouldn't phase him.
I am a fan of mahogany as well. He would be happy with mahogany as well. I am going to do a search on HGTV as well. Thanks Christine.

It was in my mil neighborhood in Woodhaven.
ETA: I know that you would like it. I am a yard sale junkie. I bought alot of stuff from yard sale and get them cleaned up. Everyone swears that I spend a ton on my furnitures.
