I became a mommie on Holy Thurday
So this past Tuesday I went to the Dr. and she said I was 1 cm so I didnt think anything of it. Wed. I felt the need to disinfect the kitchen and bathroom after reading a post on the home board about cleaning with vingear and water so guess what I cleaned my entire kitchen (including the sponges) and bathroom with. I also happened to loose my mucus plug on Wed. and started to feel mild period like cramping. So I kept on cleaning and straightening up. Well by 6pm I realized they were contractions but didnt really believe it and they were coming every 20-30 and lasting about 20 seconds. So I went to my SIL's house for my nieces b-day and by 9pm they were coming every 10 min and lasting 35 seconds. DH and I go home and at 11pm I told he needs to start timing me and really keeping tract so I was having contractions 4 minutes apart for and lasting 50-60 seconds and lasting for an hour. So at midnight I called my Dr. and she told me to go to the hospital, so we got to Winthrop at around 1am on 4/13 and was admitted after they checked me and was 5-6 cm. They put me into a L&D room and they gave me an Epi  and then they broke my water and was 6-7cm. I took a nap for about an hour an half and they decided to give me Pictocin because my contractions were irregular. Well by 4 am they had me pushing and at 5:02am Luka Ivan was born weighting in at 8lbs and 21.5 inches long. Now my little boy  Image Attachment(s):
