I am so confused
I thought I just got over my period but it wasn't a real period. I never had my one bad day of cramps where I can't move. On a whim I POAS this morning and it's positive. The 2 lines were pretty clear. How common are false positives? I'm nervous that this isn't real.

I don't think false positives are very common. Maybe it was implantation bleeding? I would try another test to be sure. I hope this is it for you!

CRAZY! CONGRATS! This happened to one of my friends and yes it was implantation bleeding too! She bled on and off for awhile actually! But omg great news, what a nice surprise!!!!!!!!

Also I think false positives are pretty uncommon. Go POAS again tomorrow! AHH! Also how heavy was your bleeding, light or no? Did you wear a pad or anything?
Maybe call the dr. - that is what my friend did and they did bloodwork for her!

I've been bleeding since the 28th or 29th of dec? Enough to wear a pantiliner but mostly just spotting on it. I drank a ton of water so I can test again but I don't have to go yet!

I would call the Dr. With two lines, there is definitely HCG in your urine. You are either pregnant and having implantation bleeding or having a chemical pregnancy which would account for the HCG and bleeding.

Is it brown spotting? If so I think you are ok! If it is red or gets heavy then I would be worried, but since you said its light I think you are ok!
Do you have any other symptons?
Also since you said the lines were pretty dark, I bet it is good! Plus when was AF due...like 6 or more days ago and you have a dark BFP...this is sounding very good!

false positives, especially dark ones, don't really happen.

It's a pregnancy where the egg was fertilized but had some type of problem that causes it to not turn into a healthy pregnancy and you "miscarry" usually before you even expect AF. So, many go undetected because women think its just AF and don't realize the egg had been fertilized. Here is a link I found when I googled it: Chemical Pregnancy
