I am officially a widow! Anyone else?
I used to like Football Sundays because it gave me a day to myself! Now, with the twins, it is a LONG day!
I have to figure out how to structure my day better!

Me too. I went out for a little bit, but DH has the guys over and they have taken over the living room. I could've stayed out longer but I would've spent too much $$$$! DS was also getting cranky.

Nope, my widowdom is about to end! The Met's s-u-cked this year so no post season for me! But the baseball season is MUCH longer then football!! Any minute now I'll be hearing about how many days till pitchers and catchers...

I hate Fantasy Football. It would be 1 thing if he just liked a particular team and had to watch that team's games. W/ fantasy, u have to watch every freaking game. It tears my weekend in half!

DH is into both college and pro! I hate it. Anytime we have something to do on Sunday I hear complaints "don't they know its football season! Who schedules a party on Sunday during football season?!?!?". He managed to come to DS's Cub Scout picnic for about a 1/2 hour yesterday (he came late and left early said he didn't feel well). DS didn't seem to mind too much but did comment that Daddy missed him in the obstacle course.  I just hate when it gets in the way of what should be family time. I don't care if he watches it all night long but don't put it before our sons events.

DS decided he wasn't going to nap yesterday during his regular time - smack dab in the middle of the game! we think he was excited to see Osi Umenyiora back in action
that poor kid is going to spend a lot of time in his PNP this season

Me! Its never really bothered me before, because it was always my day to do my own thing without worrying about him. However this year, I was told that it would be "preferrable" for me to be out of the house on Sundays....I guess I try to talk to him during the games sometimes, which annoys him. So if anyone is up for a Football Widow GTG...?

Me... DH 'reminded' me in his own way that tonight is football too.
We have 2 tv's now and he offered yesterday to switch off watching football on the smaller tv.
I have things I can do without him. It's kind of like "me" time when it's football season. Plus, we won a few thousand from a football pool a few years ago, so I can't really complain.

Honestly I don't mind watching the Giants, but it not just one game, its every game that is on all day long. Sunday is my only day off, and this is when I clean and cook for the week and help with DS, now I practically watch DS on my own and have to tell DH to not shout since he will wake the baby. It's going to be a long season.

Not I. My husband doesn't really care about football. (THANK GOD!)
I hate the sound of it...it reminds me of fall and cold weather and other horrendous dreadful things like using the fireplace and the stench of buring wood and eating soup and wearing (shudder) sweatshirts and bundling up with blankets!
Baseball is another story- but I love baseball more than him so it's all good!!
