Hubby asked me to do a poll
After much grumbling yesterday, hubby asked why I couldn't just massage my tush myself after the PIO shot, upon which I said that it's an akward position and he can massage harder.
He grumbled further that he's the only husband on earth who has to stand over his wife's arse for 5-10 minutes massaging it, and of course, I retorted that wasn't true, that I got the idea from the yenta's here, and all of you have your hubby massage it too.
So PLEASE, prove him wrong so I can shut him up!

Sorry Beth, I can't help... I would massage myself for a minute or so, then put a heating pad on for a couple of minutes.

Haven't done the PIO shots yet, but he rubs my ovaries when they hurt. Same thing, really.
You are going through plenty. Tell him to shut up and rub you the way a dutiful husband ought to.

I have not started the shots yet but my DH is always touching my butt anyway I don't think I'll have any problems.

I voted other. DH starts out rubbing it. Then he has to go and dispose of the needle and alcohol pad, etc. I massage for another few minutes and then sit on the heating pad.

Sorry I can't help either...DH does the injection, rubs it for the first 45 secs & then I take over for like 1-2 minutes & then go immediately on the heating pad..

I put other because we both do...he massages it for like 10 seconds after he gives it to me then I do the rest with a warm towel.

Thanks ladies! Well, Dh is using the results to confirm that I'm a spoiled baby I don't care though - if he doesn't massage the tush, i get the WORST, most painful lump the next day. It's the least he can do after what I've put my body through and all he had to do was ****** into a cup!

Funny, I never think about the sore lump...it's just there and part of the many new experiences IF has brought me.

DH rubs for about 30 seconds after the shot then i sit on the heating pad and rub it myself. Sorry i couldnt help with the poll results
