OMG it depressed me as well! I tell my dh all the time be prepared for a full on depression when this guy retires. Its such a part of me and part of making me who I am today as CRAZY as that sounds. I feel like I have learned so much listening to him. Hes my hero... Ughhh I cant even think about it.
I was flipping out that the Black Keys opened the show! Steve Brandano must have been soo excited and telling Howard "I told you so" hahaha (I love them too)
And I am soo jealous of Robin! I would have attacked Ryan Phillipe hahaha

Me three. I was crying when Ron zombie did American nightmare live. That music represents so much to me. Ice been a loyal listener for half my life. Love howard.

I love Howard Stern and I come across so many people who just don't get him--my husband being one of them! It's so nice to know there is a group of us on here that understand him and love his personality. I think we should have a HS board!

I always thought he was disgusting and a jerk. And then I started actually listening to his show and now he's all I listen to on the radio. He really is one of the best interviewers out there.

Well not one of those nuts but nearly a nut.
I did't listen to the birthday show yet. DH was on the show in the 90s and it's always played on Best of. I told him to call in and remind them so we could get tix!
I think now that Howard TV is over, he is working on something else - like a show on Netflix or a podcast.
Eating dinner without HTV is so dull!!

They didn't sell tickets but "regular people" won tickets by calling in and answering Stern trivia questions and i think people who donated a lot of money to NSAL were able to get tickets.

i was at a fundraiser that howards wife hosted and they had tix to his bda that you could bid on. i believe opening bid was 10k

I know someone that went to the party. The regular people were on a mezzanine level and the celebrities were down on the floor.
