If I had to choose between the 2 I would say MAYLEE...
However, if I hadnt been given a choice I would have thought it was pronounced...MAY ELE

I think it looks like May-lee.
But I'm pretty sure you're going for the pronunciation of My-lee....at least that's what I thought you had posted in the past. Is that right??

I think the ai gets an "eye" like Mai Tai and the ae would get an "ay" more often.

Would you do the y at the end or you just don't like y at all...
Miley... just found on baby names it said that Miley Cyrus got that as her nickname from Smiley as a baby. Her real name is Destiny Hope. Never new that.

without the "mai" i don't know if there is another way
but keep in mind that people have a hard time pronouncing the simplest names  so if YOU like maele pronounced "My-Lie" then that's what you should use!!
