Re: how to calm nerves
I don't get nervous before IUI's but I am SOOO nervous about my first sono this week! I try and take one thing at a time, the meds, the shots, the IUI's, I try and just keep looking forward so I breeze threw each step. Is this your first IUI? It was a breeze, it didn't hurt me at all and it was over in literally 5 minutes and then you just lay there :) Good Luck, I am sure it will go great!!!

Re: how to calm nerves
Don't be nervous, I kept asking my DH if Dr.B was sure he did it because he flew in and out of the room so quick..The whole thing was a breeze!! Get lots of sleep tonight and good luck

Like the pp's said, it is really quick and painless. The real trick is try and stay calm in the 2ww. Good luck!
