How tall is/was your 3 year old?
At their 3 year old visit- how tall were they?
Just curious where my DD falls compared to others her age.

My dds were 3 in may I don't remember them even measuring their height but I just did it and they are about 36 inches
I think you have always said your dd is petite, mine are too I just weighed them, one is 26.8lbs the other is 29 lbs

I think you have always said your dd is petite, mine are too I just weighed them, one is 26.8lbs the other is 29 lbs
Thanks I was getting worried!
She weighs about 30 lbs- and barely gains because she eats like a bird.
Dr is not concerned though.
But I felt like 36 inches was so tiny for 3 years old.
I am pretty tall- 5 9- so I guess I always thought she would be too.
But I think she may be taking after my DH's side where everyone was shorter.

My 3 yr old DS is off the charts in both height & weight. He is 43.5lbs & 42.5 inches tall. Would never know he was a preemie

Doesn't the pediatrician tell you what percentile she's in? Maybe not all doctors do it but my ped has a growth chart where he puts a little dot on the graph to track percentile.

Usually yes- but this time she didn't and I forgot until after the fact.

I'm really surprised with the range in heights everyone is posting, especially between the girls and the boys. My DS has always been tall but apparently someone else's boy is taller than him. Shocker.
