how simialr is af feelings leading up to a bfp..

here i am..11 dpiui...i have not tested..i dont think i will bc its my 30th birthday sat and i dont want to be upset for it..

im getting my beta anyways that day..

i have heard some people say they have cramping and or af like symptoms and still got a bfp..

past few days for a part of the day i feel like af is coming but then it goes away..have some cramps then it goes away..

def no other symptoms except past 2 days i am very nauseus but i know it's early for that.ithink its just nerves

i dont even know what i am asking here lol..part of me wants to take a test get it over with and cry it out for one day and move on....otherpart says hold out!

I was 1 trillion percent convinced I was getting AF the month I got my BFP. I tested the day I was due and assumed that it would be negative because I'd been cramping for days beforehand and they felt exactly the same as AF cramps.

So I was in complete shock to see a BFP.

I have a couple of friends who were convinced they were getting AF because of how the cramps and symptoms were so similar and ended up getting their BFPs stay positive and think good thoughts!

I posted a few days ago I felt nothing.. well .. since then, I started cramping and actually the reason I tested earlier than planned was because I felt crampy and it was freaking me out!!

i had cramps well before AF would have showed... i got bfp on a wed af wasnt due till monday and i had on and off cramps for about 2 of those days...

yeah im sure THAT's the reason you tested earlier than planned ..

anyway youve prob read this a zillion times from me - but in no way shape or form can you believe in any early symptoms. progesterone (whether supplemental or natural production) creates the same types of symptoms as early pregnancy. in most cases even those that claim that they had early symptoms, cannot in any way prove that those symptoms were directly related to pregnancy and not progesterone. even if it's different then any other cycle. that's just the way it is. so just hang in there!! you'll have your answer soon!!

I was also pretty sure that I was getting AF the month I got my BFP. But like you, the symptoms kept coming and going. My experience was a little weird though, I kept getting a BFN for days, maybe even a week after AF would have been due. and then walla! like forever later I got a BFP!

For me they were pretty similar. ALthough the cramping I had before my BFP was slightly different than the cramping i get before AF. The only other symptom i had was my boobs were feeling heavy and sore and that is not a common AF symptom for me. And just today I'm starting to feel the exhaustion -- but nothing really too bad before today.

I'm dpo 13 and I have no sings at all. nothing but a little cramping but since I expect AF tomorrow its not unusual. I just tested today and the verdict is still out if its a false positive, or not.

If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't test. its your birthday, and if you know your going to be upset, don't do that to yourself!

I was soooooo positive i was getting AF!!!! i cried to a friend 3 days before about i was soooo upset because AF was coming!!! and how it was not gonna happen...etc.





im praying for you gina!!! soo freaking bad!!


and def hold out testing!! i waited until the day AF was due to test, partcially because i really thought af was coming and i didnt wanna waste money taking test after test just to see a BFN!

eta: my only other symptom before my bfp was my boobs were sore (just on the sides tho) my boobs didnt really get sore when af was coming.

Until two days before I tested, I was 100% certain I was getting AF. Bloated, cramps, constipation, irritability. The "extra" AF symptoms and the strange HPT dream I had are all that made me test, otherwise I would have just kept waiting for her to show her face.
